No Victron on site? Shelly needs nothing else. Customers control everything through the Shelly app, each device's built-in web page or the platform they already use.

Renovation without demolition
Make lighting, shutters and blinds smart with modules behind the existing switches. A Wall Display (X1i, X2i or XL) becomes the control panel on the wall.
Solar panels, with any inverter
A Pro 3EM measures consumption and feed-in at the distribution board. A 1PM or Pro relay switches on the boiler or another appliance during surplus, via a scene in the app.
Comfort and safety
Smart plugs with metering, BLU sensors for doors, windows, motion and water leaks, BLU TRV radiator valves and the Presence Gen4, which uses mmWave to detect people even when they sit still.
Shelly in your Victron system
A Victron system knows exactly what is generated, stored and consumed. What was missing was a simple way to act on the loads in the building at that moment. Shelly is that layer, and since Venus OS 3.70 Victron supports it natively: no scripts and no extra platform.
Found automatically
Shelly Gen2 and newer devices on the same network appear under Settings, Integrations. Enable them once and they show up in the switch pane.
Switching and dimming from the GX
On/off outputs, dimmable outputs with a slider and RGB control, alongside the rest of the installation.
Metering in the right role
A Shelly energy meter can take the role of AC load, PV inverter or generator.
Go further with Node-RED
Virtual switches in the same pane, for rules based on battery level, surplus or energy price.
Recommended for Victron ESS
Shelly Pro 1PM, Pro 2PM and Pro 4PM to switch loads, the Pro 3EM for three-phase metering and the Pro 3EM Switch Add-on. All on DIN rail, with LAN for a stable connection to the GX.

Good to know (Venus OS 3.70)
- Grid metering stays with a Victron energy meter. The grid role is not available for Shelly.
- Disable password protection on the Shelly device, otherwise it will not be found.
- Sensors, add-ons and single-phase EM meters do not appear in Venus OS.
- Tested by Victron: including the Shelly Pro 1PM, Pro 4PM and Pro 3EM.
With Victron: three applications your customer notices right away
Boiler on solar surplus
When the battery is full and the panels are still producing, a Shelly Pro 1PM switches on the electric boiler. Power that would otherwise go to the grid for a low compensation becomes hot water.
Peak shaving
Briefly switch off the pool pump or heat pump (via the dry contact of a Shelly 1) when the building is already drawing a lot. Under the capacity tariff, every kW of peak counts on the bill.
Know where the kWh go
A Pro 3EM or Pro 4PM measures per circuit or per appliance. You see consumption on the GX next to production and battery, and know where to adjust.
Which Shelly does what? Look at the colour.
Shelly gives each function its own housing colour. In the distribution board or behind the switch you see at a glance what is installed, and you pick the right device faster when ordering.

Why Shelly and not something else
Traditional home automation is solid but closed and expensive in renovation. Cheap cloud plugs are quick to install but depend on an app and a server. Shelly takes the best of both, and is the only one of the three that also fits directly into a Victron installation.
